How do I make a booking?

Go to minicabit.com and follow the steps below:

1. Enter Your Trip Information

• Pickup and drop off address - Enter your pickup and drop-off locations, including any additional stops enroute, also known as vias (click here for more information on vias).
• Return trips - ensure you select 'return'.

• Pickup date and time - Specify your desired pickup date and time.
• Consider traffic - we provide an estimated time excluding traffic. For airport drop-offs, allow sufficient travel time for traffic, airport security, and check-in requirements. We recommend planning ahead, especially during peak travel periods. (click here for airport booking tips).

• Number of passengers - All passengers must be included in the total passenger count, including infants and children.
• Amount of luggage - Please enter the number of suitcases, bags and any other items as accurately as possible. Vehicle capacity is based on the information you provide. If the luggage details are incorrect, the vehicle sent may not be suitable for your journey.

2. Select a Quote

• After entering your information, you'll receive real-time quotes from various UK cab providers, allowing you to compare options for the best deal.
• The quotes will include:
  • Cab providers star rating (genuine ratings from customers)
  • You can filter by car type as shown below or by 'customer recommended' or by price. 

• Payment types - Payment methods vary by provider. If a cash option is not displayed, you will need to pay at the time of booking on this platform.

• One way trips
  • Choose the quote you want to book and move to Step 3 below.
• Return trips
  • Choose the Outbound quote you want to book, then make sure to 'Select Inbound' to choose the inbound leg of the quote you want to book. Then move to Step 3 below.

3. Pay for your booking

• Booking summary - You'll see a booking summary of your trip including the vehicle type that has been selected based on the passengers and luggage.
• Made a mistake? - To correct a mistake in your quote, click 'return to results', make the changes and then select the quote(s) to return to this summary.
• Book as a guest - You can complete your booking without creating an account. However, creating an account allows you to view and manage all your bookings in one place, book more quickly in the future, and receive exclusive offers and discounts.

• Name of passenger - add first name and last name
• Card details - add payment information
• Arrival flight number - If your booking includes an airport pickup, add your flight number.
• Additional information - notify the cab provider of any special requirements.
• Business trip - select if booking is for business
• Promo code - if you have one, add it here
• Total price - this is the total cost of the booking (including outbound and inbound if you are booking a return trip)

4. What Happens After I Book?

• Once your booking is confirmed:

  • You'll receive a confirmation email with a unique booking reference (if you've booked a return you'll have a booking reference for each leg of the booking). 
  • You'll receive an SMS confirmation where available.
  • You'll be provided with the cab provider's contact details.
  • Your booking details will be available in your minicabit account if you booked while logged in.
