Once you have made your booking, we strongly recommend communicating with the private hire operator to confirm whether the driver is willing to accept pets. You'll find their details on the confirmation email we send you.
This is because private hire operators are private businesses, and they have the discretion to set their own policies regarding whether drivers will accept passengers with pets. They may also have policies in place to ensure the cleanliness and safety of their vehicles. Therefore, passengers with pets are expected to take measures to prevent any inconvenience to the driver or other passengers.
If you find that the Operator is unable to take the pet, please contact us as soon as possible either call us on +1322 251351 or pop on a live chat with us via the button at the bottom of this screen and let us know. Both options are available 24/7 and we will do our best to find you another Operator who can fulfil the booking.
Travelling with Assistance Dogs
Please add the dog in the quotes page as shown above.
On the booking page, there is an additional information section where you must add that the dog is an assistance dog. This will also inform the Private Hire Operator once the booking is completed.
We recommend checking with the Operator before you travel to confirm you have an assistance dog in case they have a medical exemption certificate exempting them from taking dogs.
