How do I get a quote using the app?

Please follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Open the minicabit app and click on Get Started.

Step 2 - On the next screen, choose Search Cabs.

Step 3 - Enter the pick up location by entering the postcode. The app will display addresses with the postcode you've entered. Choose the pick up location.

  • Repeat the process for the drop off location.

Step 4 - And now choose the date and time you want to be picked up.

Step 5 - On this page, you can also select the number of passengers and any luggage you will have.

  • Don't worry if you make a mistake, you can simply click on Remove all at the bottom of the screen to start again.

Step 6 - Once you've selected the number of passengers and any luggage, the app will search for quotes which meet your requirements

  • Once the app has located suitable Operators to fulfil the booking, you'll be presented with quotes. The quotes will appear from the cheapest price at the top to the most expensive at the bottom. 
  • From here, you can also choose Executive and Luxury vehicles for your journey. If you select one of these options instead, the list of quotes will change to display the relevant Operators and their prices.

Step 7 - Select the quote you want to proceed with by clicking on it once.

  • Now, you will need to either create an account or if you have booked with minicabit before, login to your existing account.
  • Once completed, click on Next.

  • You'll be presented with a trip summary of your booking based on the addresses, passengers and luggage you have entered.
  • On this page you can add additional info such as child seat, disabled passenger or other ad hoc items not listed in the Luggage section.
  • If you have a promo code from minicabit, you can add it on this page too.
  • Once you're happy to proceed, click Next.

  • If you're booking for someone else, this next page, gives you the option to change the passenger name and contact number in the Passenger Details section.
  • From here you can also add the payment details by selecting Add payment method +

  • Once the booking has been successfully completed, you can check by clicking on My bookings at the bottom of the screen.
  • This will show you all upcoming trips as well as previous ones booked on your account.
